Purpose of this Position: This position is responsible for assessing, estimating, supporting and managing the effective and efficient delivery of the functional aspects of APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) and WEB solutions, enhancements and service delivery (break/fix) across all HMGMA supported instances. This position responds to production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts related business applications/systems for HMGMA Sales & Production planning operations.
Essential Functions: • Design, configure & develop APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) system for automotive industry.
• Design & implementation of WEB system packages.
• Implement sales & operation planning, production scheduling & sequencing system
• Consult & support sales & production business teams to solve problems & improve optimized result.
• Develop & maintain SAP (SD, PP) I/F & Web UIs.
Decision Making/Discretion: Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
Results: Ability to present and convey towards various audience types – All levels up and down.
Strategy Development: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
Education: • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Related Work Experience (Yrs.)• 5+ years' experience in the IT field.
• 3 years or more application development experience.
• Large/Enterprise application development experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge • Experience with design & configuration of supply chain planning solution S/W such as DP (Demand Planning), SCP (Supply Chain Planning), IO (Inventory Optimization), FP (Factory Planning), MS (Master Scheduling), DF (Demand Fulfillment) and sequencer.
• Knowledge on SCM KPI data design and analysis.
• Experience in developing algorithms of scheduling & sequencing optimization.
• Experience in implementing EAI I/F between APS & ERP.
• Proficiency on writing web programming (Java, JavaScript, .Net, etc. and SQL code).
• Administrative skills on open-source RDBMS (ex: MariaDB), Web Server and Web Application Server.
• Java/Web Framework (React, MyBatis and Spring Boot).
• Knowledge and experience on APS or SAP PP/APO.
Certifications (Required/Preferred)• SCM(CPIM/ERP), Web Developer Certificate preferred.
Travel Time: Up to 25% travel to potentially include international travel.
Salary Range: $65,950 to $94,300/yr. (Depending on experience offered).
