We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 3D Model Technician to join our dynamic team. As part of our innovative environment, you will play a critical role in producing highly accurate dental models using advanced 3D printing and modeling techniques.

Job Description: The 3D Model Technician will be responsible for creating precise 3D digital models of dental impressions, preparing files for 3D printing, cleaning and preventative maintenance, and ensuring the highest quality of models used for prosthetics and restorations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, proficiency in dental CAD/CAM software, and experience with 3D printing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with dental impressions and scan data to create accurate 3D models using CAD software.
• Set up and operate 3D printers, ensuring quality output of dental models.
• Perform quality control checks on printed models, ensuring they meet precise specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to 3D printing or model quality.
• Collaborate with the dental technician team to ensure the successful production of custom dental restorations.
• Maintain and organize model files and digital data for future reference and adjustments.
• Keep up to date with the latest advancements in 3D printing technology and dental modeling software.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in 3D modeling, CAD design, or a related field (dental lab experience a plus).
• Familiarity with dental terminology, dental anatomy, and restorative techniques.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Exocad, 3Shape, or similar).
• Experience with 3D printing hardware and materials, especially in a dental lab setting.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
