We are actively expanding our business and are looking to find a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced Controller to run our Accounting Department.

The company is composed of a holding company, Choice Companies, Inc, and its two subsidiaries: Choice Floors, Inc and Choice Stairways, Inc. Together, the organizations generate 20 million dollars in revenue annually.

As Controller, you will report directly to the CEO and President. You will be in charge of all accounting functions and managing an in-office team of AR & AP Processors. As controller you will be expected to handle the following:
* Oversee all facets of the Accounting Department. Ensuring all functions are being completed according to company standards.
* Serve as the main point of contact for all accounting department employees.
* Generate monthly and reports for company executives. These includes but not limited to: end of month Financials, monthly Sales Reports, weekly Cash Expectations, Weekly budgets.
* Maintain collections and negotiate with vendors on open AP when needed
* Create monthly financials for each individual entity and then a consolidated financial for a global perspective.
* Oversee all banking for each entity.
* File sales tax for each entity, across multiple states.
* Serve as the main point of contact for external CPA. The CPA will review monthly financials and handle year-end tax filings, including 1099 generation.

*Requirements*:
* BACHELORS DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to coach and train effectively and be part of the Accounting Team!
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experience in ERP software a plus. (Choice utilizes RFMS for Floors & Global Shop for Stairways)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
