The Accounting Services department partners with middle‑market companies to provide outsourced accounting functions. The manager will serve as the primary client contact for multiple relationships, oversee monthly accounting—including payables processing, transaction recording, and month‑end close on a GAAP basis—perform balance sheet reconciliations, review and analyze financial results, and report findings to clients. Additionally, the manager will supervise, train, and develop staff in cash, payables, debt transactions, invoicing, accounts receivable, fixed‑asset accounting, and month‑end journal entries. Strong project‑management skills, including resource scheduling and checklist creation for multiple projects, are essential. The candidate should have experience in a supervisory role of an accounting department that includes oversight of accounts payable processes, customer billing, and month‑end close activities, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis. Experience in a professional/client‑service role is preferred. The Accounting Services Manager is expected to self‑manage, manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously, and lead the personal and professional development of other team members. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting CPA license or plans to obtain 5 – 7 years total experience in accounting, including a mix of public accounting and management of an accounting department Complete understanding of the full accounting cycle Complete knowledge of financial statements Experience using QuickBooks, Excel, and Word is required; Sage/Peachtree, Dynamics, NetSuite is preferred Please note that Calvetti Ferguson does not provide immigration or work visa sponsorship.
