Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Aluminum Mig Welder to join their team. As an Aluminum Mig Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting skilled trades. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Aluminum Mig Welder

Location: Pontiac, IL

Pay Rate: $26.00/hour

What's the Job?

• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 1 year of production Aluminum Mig welding experience.
• Experience with working with Power Tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good attendance is required.
• Ability to pass a weld test.
