Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in API development (REST/GraphQL). Proficiency in backend programming languages (Java, Python, Node.js, or Go). Experience with API gateways (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or similar). Hands-on expertise with New Relic APM, logs, alerts, and dashboards. Strong understanding of API authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, etc.). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
