Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor. This leadership role involves overseeing respiratory therapy personnel and ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality care in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Job Summary

As a supervisor, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of respiratory therapy programs, patient care protocols, and departmental policies. You will manage clinical operations, evaluate treatment plans, and administer advanced respiratory therapies including oxygen and aerosol treatments, airway management, arterial puncture, and mechanical ventilation for adult and geriatric patients.

Key responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, participating in discharge planning, managing equipment safety and maintenance, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will also recruit, train, and develop staff, foster a collaborative team environment, and contribute to budget planning and departmental reporting.

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years acute care respiratory experience; two years clinical leadership preferred.
• Experience in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings is advantageous.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current, unrestricted Respiratory Therapy license for Washington State.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong leadership, coaching, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Includes frequent lifting and carrying of equipment up to 35 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Vision, hearing, and speech within normal range with or without corrective devices.
