Job Description
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsperson with experience in architectural millwork and custom cabinetry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings and production-ready CAD files that accurately reflect design intent, client specifications, and manufacturing requirements.

Pay $30-40 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed millwork shop drawings using AutoCAD based on architectural plans and client specifications
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and architectural drawings to produce technical drawings for fabrication
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of drawings
- Create cut lists, elevations, sections, and material specifications
- Revise drawings based on feedback from clients, architects, or production teams
- Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and company quality requirements
- Maintain organized digital drawing files and documentation
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience drafting for millwork or cabinetry using AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of architectural woodworking, cabinet construction, and joinery
- Familiarity with AWI (Architectural Woodwork Institute) standards preferred
- Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and specifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2020 or later preferred); experience with Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or Revit is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CNC programming or manufacturing processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of materials such as wood veneers, laminates, and hardware components
