SUPERVISES - No supervisory responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - A high school diploma or equivalent
•Possession or immediate eligibility for a Georgia Commercial Driver's License •And one of the followingeither: - Completion of a formal comprehensive course in automotive and truck repair and two years of full-time experience as a mechanic; or
- Two (2) years of experience as a mechanic with at least one (1) year of experience working full-time with commercial transportation vehicles other than passenger cars; or
- A minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience working as a school bus mechanic's apprentice.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - ASE certification (S series)
- Two (2) years of experience in a bus maintenance setting
