Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, delivering goods to various locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of deliveries, adhering to all federal and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding deliveries and any potential issues.
- Provide top-level customer service to clients during interactions.
- Address any vehicle maintenance needs and report them to management promptly.
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license and a clean driving record.
- At least 1 year of experience as a commercial truck driver.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational abilities with a focus on time management.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening as required by company policy.
