Job Description

We are looking for a CDL A Truck Driver in the Tolland CT area to operator a dump truck transporting goods and materials to designated destinations.

CDL Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include operating dumb truck transporting construction material to and from job sites and assisting the construction crew when needed.
• Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery receipts.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• As needed, assist with the loading and unloading of cargo and ensure the accurate counting and inspection of freight.

CDL Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license
• Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations
• 5+ years of demonstrated commercial driving experience

• Knowledge of and adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations.
