Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nutrition counseling and develop individualized dietary plans for patients with endocrinological conditions such as diabetes, dyslipidemia, pcos, prediabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, and metabolic syndrome.
• Collaborate with the endocrinologist and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Conduct virtual consultations and follow-up visits with patients to monitor progress, adjust dietary recommendations, and provide ongoing support.
• Educate patients about the role of nutrition in managing chronic conditions and improving overall health.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for insurance reimbursement purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) designation with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
• Experience working with patients who have chronic conditions, particularly diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic health, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Comfort and experience with virtual consultations.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Payment Structure:

• Reimbursement for services provided will be through third-party insurance.
• Shipping for appropriate consults will be covered.
