Civil Litigation Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to represent clients in civil disputes, ensuring their rights are protected and advocating for favorable outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and litigation skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional legal representation.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases in court and during settlements
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation
• Engage in mediation and dispute resolution processes
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients based on their individual needs
• Prepare cases for trial, including developing trial strategies and gathering evidence
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal standards
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and legal staff

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation
• Strong understanding of contract law and civil procedure
• Proven skills in negotiation and mediation
• Excellent client representation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Strong legal writing and research skills
• Experience with trial preparation and courtroom procedures
