What will you be doing? You will work closely with your assigned Project Manager to take projects from permit through to completion. The work is primarily interior, renovation-type, commercial work with a handful of repeat clients. Though many projects are in Tampa Bay and surrounding areas, there may require some out-of-town work (the timeframe for these jobs can go from 3-8 weeks per job if required to travel). All candidates must be willing to travel within the state. The position is a light-working supervisory role where occasional hands-on work is required. This position will require fantastic leadership skills and a solid understanding of scheduling fundamentals (with the ability to execute on both). The services we offer to our clients require our team to often "fill in the blanks," "ask the right questions," and "proactively look ahead" to get the project done! We're known for always meeting our schedules, so our projects tend to be very fast-paced.
We've found that individuals who are open-minded, easy-going, flexible, and able to roll with the punches are often the most successful! You will be part of a team with a lot of energy, passion, and a desire to improve. Our culture is one of continuous improvement and growth, which means there are no ceilings here for those who perform. You will write your own book being an employee of our company. You will be working with seasoned Project Managers, Foremen, and our own talented crew of self-performing carpenters and laborers on a variety of projects: Large & small, simple & complex, short duration (1wk) & long (8 months).
