THE ROLE
Venterra is searching for a creative and data-driven Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business goals and drives audience engagement.
THE DETAILS
* Develop and implement content strategies that support business objectives
* Researches and understands key business challenges, customer behavior, target audiences, competitive activity, and environmental factors that impacts programs within the business and assigned departments
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand audience needs and business goals
* Craft compelling copy and content across various channels, including website copy, blog posts, email campaigns, social media, video and marketing materials
* Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines
* Establish and maintain content style guides, editorial calendars, and best practices
* Conduct audience research to understand target audience preferences and behaviors
* Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve discoverability
* Manage and analyze content performance metrics using analytics tools to inform content strategy
* Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and content marketing best practices
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, product, sales) to ensure content aligns with overall business initiatives
* Manage content creation, distribution, and promotion budgets including external agencies and outsourced projects
* Knows how to use popular digital marketing tools, including content management software, search engine optimization software, and website analytics software
THE QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience or 3-5 years of proven work experience in content marketing, copywriting, and communications
* Strong understanding of content strategy principles and SEO best practices
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
* Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools
* Passion for storytelling and creating engaging content
* Data-driven approach to content creation and optimization
* Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams
* Solid understanding and skillsets including HTML/CSS experience
* Experience with email builder such as BeePro preferred
Weekly Sample Tasks/Expectations:
* Conduct research on renters in area to understand target audience preferences and behaviors
* Research existing website content and provide search engine optimized content and copy to improve discoverability of critical properties and neighborhoods
* Meet with Key Stakeholders to collaborate based on projects
* Analyze performance of current prospect or resident communications and drip campaigns and make recommendations that will improve engagement or performance
* Review existing journey map, and make recommendations for improvements to campaigns
* Craft compelling copy and content
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, CX, Branding, and Data to ensure existing content aligns with overall business initiatives
* Maintain editorial calendars
* Prepare presentation on tech stack and improvements required
* Provide report on spend vs budget
* Address a brand use violation
