Description

We are looking for a Copywriter to assist our BetterBody Foods team. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with writing talent, enthusiasm and creative thinking wanting to work with a dynamic and growing company with nationally recognized brands. This person will work closely with the Director of Marketing while also brainstorming and developing messages for our Product Development and eCommerce teams. This freelance copywriter will write and edit for a variety of projects including print, packaging, web, video, and social media.

Requirements

What You'll Do

• Write original creative copy and edit content for a range of marketing, product descriptions, eCommerce and social assets or campaigns.
• Research and understand the brand's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, in-person or online meetings, etc.
• Collaborate with BetterBody Foods team members from concept development, client feedback and direction, to delivery of final product
• Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts while continually elevating and clearly understanding the tone of voice for the following brands; BetterBody Foods, PBfit, Oatsome and Plant Junkie.

• You maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends
• You stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
• Excellent communication skills and prompt on deadlines

Need To Have

• A passion for copywriting with experience and a solid portfolio of work
• Exceptional writing and research skill
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Google applications

Nice To Have

• Social media or content marketing experience
• Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
