Job Description

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Destination Wedding Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist couples in planning their dream wedding at a destination of their choice, handling all logistics, travel arrangements, and vendor coordination. You will provide exceptional customer service and ensure that every aspect of the destination wedding runs smoothly, creating unforgettable experiences for the couple and their guests.

Responsibilities :

  • Consult with couples to understand their wedding vision, preferences, and budget, including destination, venue, and travel requirements.
  • Research and recommend destination wedding venues, locations, and resorts that best match the couple's desires.
  • Coordinate all wedding-related logistics, including accommodations, transportation, activities, and events for the couple and their guests.
  • Collaborate with wedding venues, local vendors, and suppliers to secure contracts and services such as photographers, florists, entertainment, and catering.
  • Assist in managing the guest list and ensure that travel arrangements are seamless for both the couple and their guests.
  • Handle the booking process for flights, accommodations, and activities, ensuring that all aspects of the trip are carefully organized.
  • Provide expert advice on local customs, legal requirements for destination weddings, and wedding packages offered by resorts and vendors.
  • Ensure all timelines and deadlines are met and maintain consistent communication with the couple to ensure their needs are being met throughout the planning process.
  • Offer on-site support (if needed) for the wedding event to ensure everything runs smoothly, coordinating with local vendors and ensuring the couple’s vision is realized.
  • Follow up after the event to ensure client satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in wedding planning, travel coordination, or event management (experience with destination weddings is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of popular destination wedding locations, venues, and services.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple weddings at the same time.
  • Proficient in using travel booking platforms, CRM software, and virtual communication tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and manage clients across different time zones.
  • Knowledge of different cultures, wedding customs, and legal requirements for destination weddings is an asset.
