DIESEL MECHANICS
NEEDED ASAP IN ALBANY AND KINGSTON – ALL LEVELS
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in motor coaches and trucks. Service and maintain all types of engines.
Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance (PMs) and repairs on diesel engines.
Repair and replace brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems. Fix brakes, hydraulic, and ignition systems
Use diagnostic equipment and tools to test and repair vehicles.
Maintain detailed records of services and repairs.
Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience with diesel vehicles. ( Primarily working on coach diesel buses.) ALL LEVELS 1+ year and up - Welcome to apply
Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)
Work independently with minimal supervision
Skilled with tools and diagnostic equipment
• Must be able to multitask.
• Assist parts department in researching and ordering needed parts.
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
A Valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
A strong work ethic, integrity, and a willingness to learn. The ability to work independently and to also function well within a team.
