DIESEL MECHANICS
NEEDED ASAP IN ALBANY AND KINGSTON – ALL LEVELS

We are seeking a few skilled Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanics to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet. ( Primarily working on coach diesel buses.)

Monday through Friday (Albany), Various shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in motor coaches and trucks. Service and maintain all types of engines.

• Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance (PMs) and repairs on diesel engines.

• Repair and replace brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems. Fix brakes, hydraulic, and ignition systems

• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to test and repair vehicles.

• Maintain detailed records of services and repairs.

• Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience with diesel vehicles. ( Primarily working on coach diesel buses.) ALL LEVELS 1+ year and up - Welcome to apply

• Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Skilled with tools and diagnostic equipment

• Must be able to multitask.
• Assist parts department in researching and ordering needed parts.

• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.

• A Valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• A strong work ethic, integrity, and a willingness to learn. The ability to work independently and to also function well within a team.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $32.00 per hour
