Title: Director of Organizational Development Location: UT Federal Credit Union Corporate Headquarters

JOB DESCRIPTION STATEMENT:

The Director of Organizational Development (OD) is a key strategic leader responsible for building and sustaining a culture of continuous learning, performance excellence, and leadership development at UT Federal Credit Union. Reporting to the CHRO, this role will oversee the Learning & Development team and spearhead organizational development strategies that enhance employee capability, engagement, and alignment with UTFCU's strategic vision of improving lives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Design and execute organizational development strategies that align with UTFCU's mission, aspiration, and principles. Rebrand and lead the Learning & Development function, shifting from traditional training to a dynamic, enterprise-wide learning model. Launch initiatives such as topical workshops, job shadowing, lunch & learns, and professional development series. Implement leadership development programs and succession planning strategies to ensure a strong internal pipeline. Create development pathways and career mapping for all job families. Lead change management initiatives that support business transformation and cultural evolution. Serve as a coach and advisor for leaders managing organizational transitions. Define, track, and report on KPIs that assess training effectiveness and organizational development impact. Establish and nurture partnerships with local organizations and external learning providers to expand access to learning resources. Act as a strategic advisor to the CHRO, CEO, and Senior Leadership Team on people development and change initiatives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises the learning and development staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with established dress code policy. Technological skills and knowledge, including computer literacy.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, Education, or related fields strongly preferred. 7–10 years of progressive experience in organizational development, learning & development, or related disciplines. Proven experience leading a team and delivering measurable results. Experience implementing LMS or digital learning platforms and using analytics to track performance. Strong project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Articulate, engaging, influential speaker; able to convey both technical and non-technical material in a clear, concise manner. Ability to read and interpret documents such as regulatory instructions, policy manuals, task documentation, and procedure manuals. Exceptional ability to write clearly and concisely in developing training manuals and exercises, as well as in producing routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before various groups.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to create and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to manage time; coordinate several projects at once; multitask. Ability to create a measurably successful orientation and basic job skills training program for new hires and current employees. Able to follow established policies and procedures. Ability to deal with all levels and departments of the organization. Ability to identify and analyze training needs and create programs to satisfy identified deficiencies. Able to present information to trainees in such a way that ensures transfer of learning.
