Job Description

Selects Drilling Engineer plans, designs and manages projects.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

• Undertakes technical and feasibility studies.
• Collaborates with other professionals and discusses requirements with clients.
• Uses computer programs to develop detailed designs.
• Ensures that constructions meet legal guidelines and safety and environment requirements.

• Recognized as expert in area of specialization.
• Oil and gas/ industrial experience (or related experience).
• High motivated and focused.
• Self-sufficient; self-starter.
• Ability to work independently establish priorities and complete competing assignments within required time frames.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Must have a valid drivers license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle in accordance to Selects policies.
• Oil and gas operations beneficial.

Physical Demands and Exposures

• Requires a high degree of concentration in a busy area.
• Must be willing to travel to remote locations and spend considerable time at field locations as required.
• Position works inside a climate-controlled environment a majority of the time.
• Traditional Monday through Friday, 8 5 pm, unless operational tempo and requirements dictate otherwise.
• Ability to individually lift: Maximum 25 lbs.
