The Opportunity

• Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
• Current IN state license is a plus.

The Practice


Community Hospital - Munster, Indiana

• Part of the Community Healthcare System, which is comprised of four not-for-profit hospitals.
• 445-bed with 32-bed ED not including hallway beds.
• Comprehensive Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center.
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
• Annual volume of 70,000.
• Utilizes multidisciplinary teams of health professionals and shared governance among nursing staff for increased collaboration and accountability in patient care.

• Located 30 miles southeast of the Chicago Loop area.
• Small town feel but close to the large city of Chicago.
• Plenty of community events to attend, including the Center for Visual and Performing Arts, the LEED-certified Centennial Park and Golf Course, Munster Music Festival, and Three Floyds Brewing Company, a regional staple.
