Osage, Iowa Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Join our team at the heart of healthcare excellence in Mitchell County! We're seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to be part of our dedicated team at our Critical Access Hospital in Osage, Iowa.

Opportunity Specifics:

• Patient Volume: ER sees 10-15 patients daily; Medical floor average daily census is 6 patients
• Shift Times: Nights - 7:00pm - 7:00am, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule: Rotating shifts including every 3rd weekend and holidays
• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with acute medical conditions
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and assist with trauma resuscitation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
• EMR System: Cerner Powerchart

Candidate Requirements:

• Active Iowa RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience
• Certifications: BLS ACLS and PALS
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
