• Bachelor’s Degree in related field • 1+ year of experience in the Environmental Health and Safety field, with an emphasis in safety • Knowledge of OSHA 1910, EPA, NFPA, ASME and ANSI regulations • Willingness to be flexible and work off hours and some weekends as needed

Job Description
An employer in the Cape Canaveral, FL market is looking for an EHS Specialist to join their team. This position will be 2nd shift (Monday - Saturday 3pm - 2am ; OT for anything over 40 hours per week; average 50-60 hours per week). This person will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the program is within federal, state and local guidelines. Ensure safety across the program and manufacturing environments. This person will be supporting incident management, emergency response, employee engagement, program development, job hazard assessments, inspections of PPE, evaluation of procedures and more.
