Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, and for promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs and policies.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incident investigations, and training sessions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in environmental health and safety roles.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
