Job Description
We are currently looking to expand our team by adding an experienced Carpenter, preferably with Stair building knowledge. Feil Wood Flooring & Stairs is the largest wood flooring and custom stair building company in SWFL catering to a high-end clientele seeking a high level of craftsmanship & customer service. We specialize in custom & pre-finished (solid & engineered) wood floors, wood floor installation, and the manufacturing and installation of our custom staircases, which we produce locally in our 19,000 sq. ft. workshop with our cutting-edge 5-axis CNC machine.
The hired employee would be responsible for the production and installation of staircases. This is a long-term position.
Responsibilities
-Produce, construct and install staircases
-Operate machinery safely and appropriately
-Shape or cut materials to specified measurements
-Verify dimensions of structure
Requirements
- Must be willing to relocate
- Minimum 2 years experience required
-Ability to read & interpret work orders
-Basic math skills
-Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
-Requires standing for long periods of time
-Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry 25 lbs frequently
-Must have valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check
-Must be fluent in English
-Strictly alcohol/drug/smoke-free work place!
