Are you a motivated sales professional with a passion for design, customer service, and helping clients transform their spaces? Woodstock Flooring & Design Center is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Flooring Sales Representative to join our team. If you excel at building relationships, providing exceptional service, and closing sales with confidence, we want to meet you!

About the Role

As a Flooring Sales Representative, you will be the welcoming face of our showroom—guiding clients through product options, offering expert recommendations, and ensuring every customer leaves with confidence and satisfaction. You will play a key role in driving store profitability while maintaining the high-quality service standard our brand is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, engage, and direct customers throughout the showroom
  • Provide clear, accurate information on product features, pricing, and after-sales services
  • Answer customer questions and recommend products that best fit their needs
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to support purchasing decisions
  • Cross-sell additional products and services when appropriate
  • Collaborate with fellow sales team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Communicate customer feedback to the General Manager
  • Stay knowledgeable about new products, trends, and services
  • Perform job-site visits and complete accurate measurements
  • Accurately enter orders and maintain organized customer data

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Flooring Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar sales role
  • Strong understanding of the retail sales process
  • Accuracy in order entry and data entry
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior and effective sales strategies
  • Knowledge of inventory and stocking procedures
  • Basic math skills and ability to measure with a ruler and tape measure
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Schedule

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shifts
  • Monday–Friday (Weekends as needed)
