Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator with 3-4 years of experience in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate should be adept at operating either a traditional stand-up or sit-down forklift. You will be responsible for scanning inventory in and out using both a scanner and a computer system, as well as handling pallets by stacking, loading, unloading, and staging.

Responsibilities

• Operate a traditional stand-up or sit-down forklift effectively.

• Scan inventory in and out using a scanner and computer system.

• Handle pallets by stacking, loading, unloading, and staging.

• Use an electric pallet jack for inventory management.

• Engage in shipping and receiving tasks as required.

Essential Skills

• 3-4 years of experience operating either a sit-down or traditional stand-up forklift.

• Proficiency with RF scanners and computer systems.

• Ability to handle pallets effectively in a warehouse environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift certification is preferred.

• Experience with inventory management is a plus.

• Skills in shipping and receiving are advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lyndhurst, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
