We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Product Game Operations Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of game operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of game mechanics, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with gaming communities. You will contribute to the smooth operation of our game, directly impacting player satisfaction and overall game success.

What you will do:

Game Expertise:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the game's mechanics, gameplay, story, items, and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with game updates, patches, and new content releases.

Day-to-Day Operations:

  • Execute daily operational activities, including providing game tips and tricks to users.
  • Distribute gift codes and manage in-game promotions.
  • Handle and resolve player complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor game servers and report any technical issues.

Community Engagement:

  • Actively listen to and engage with the game community through various channels (forums, social media, etc.).
  • Gather and analyze player feedback and provide valuable insights to the product and development teams.
  • Identify and report trends and issues within the community.

Vendor Collaboration:

  • Cooperate with external vendors to ensure alignment between game operations and marketing activities.
  • Assist in the coordination of promotional events and campaigns.
  • Maintain good communication with vendors.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Create and maintain accurate records of operational activities and player feedback.

  • Prepare regular reports on community sentiment and key operational metrics.

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in and understanding of video games and the gaming industry.
  • Strong grasp of game mechanics, gameplay, and related concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Patient and empathetic approach to handling player inquiries and complaints.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with online communities, social media platforms, and basic computer skills.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant field (e.g., Game Design, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field).
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
