Position Purpose:
As part of the Population Health and Clinical Operations (PHCO) Project Management Office, the Healthcare Project Manager will lead key initiatives focused on clinical system migrations and business process improvements. This role requires a proven track record of successfully managing business (non-IT) migration projects across multiple clinical domains, including Utilization Management, Care Management, Appeals, Medical Management, and Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly PHCO Clinical Functional Workgroup meetings, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and follow-up on key initiatives.
• Manage and maintain the PHCO business process project plan, tracking milestones and ensuring on-time delivery of all project components.
• Provide weekly updates and reports during leadership meetings, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, navigate, and implement solutions that address market operational needs and align with system development capabilities.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of project management, implementation, or program management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Planview, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience leading diverse teams in a matrix-managed environment.

License/Certification:

• PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Population Health initiatives and clinical system migrations.
• Experience with TruCare or other clinical systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks and drive completion.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
