About the Clinician's WorkdayThis oncology position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and includes weekday call responsibilities, with a weekend call or onsite ratio of 1:5. The role is not a solo position and is supported by a comprehensive team including 3 medical oncologists, 2 radiation oncologists, 2 oncology APPs, therapists, nursing staff, and specialists in dosimetry, physics, clinical supervision, nurse navigation, social work, genetic counseling, clinical research, and financial advocacy. The setting includes both outpatient and some inpatient care. Patient volume includes 02 new consults per day, 1518 follow-ups daily, 05 inpatient follow-ups per day, and 02 new inpatient consults weekly. The practice uses Epic as its EMR system.
