Job Summary: Shop to mold equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the work area. Ensure product quality through the information and tools provided.

 

 

Essential functions :

  • Monitor computerized injection molding equipment and robots, check reading screens, respond to alarms and signals by reporting to the team leader or supervisor.
  • Move parts to the pre-designated area to take them to assembly or shipping
  • Visually inspect parts for nonconformities in color, flash, stains, shape, etc.
  • Packing parts in bags/boxes and containers: completing labels and attaching
  • Inform supervision or quality if non-compliance is found
  • Keep the work area clear of debris and clutter
  • Positive support for security programs and ISO/TS programs
  • Ability to use scanners to create part labels as well as complete parts
  • Good understanding of the concept of Critical Parts
  • All other tasks assigned

 

Education :

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent

 

 

Skills/Experience/Requirements:

  • Must be able to read and understand verbal instruction in English
  • Must be able to do simple mathematical calculations, addition, subtraction, division, averages
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be able to communicate with supervision, management, and co-workers
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Behave in a positive way that improves the success of the company

 

Physical/ergonomic requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work standing during the 12-hour shift
