Title: Insurance Coverage Attorney

Location: Dallas, TX

Salary: $140k-$180k/yr

Required experience: Litigation, Insurance coverage, complex coverage, general liability, depositions, contract disputes, bad faith. 

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in insurance litigation and coverage issues, specializing in commercial, auto, umbrella, excess, and liability claims. This position aims to provide expert legal counsel and representation to our clients in navigating complex insurance matters and disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation in insurance coverage disputes
• Analyze insurance policy language and coverage issues
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Conduct legal research on relevant laws and regulations
• Negotiate settlements and manage litigation processes
• Advocate for clients in court proceedings and hearings
• Collaborate with clients and insurance professionals to resolve coverage issues
• Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in insurance law

Qualifications

• Jurisdictions license to practice law
• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation
• Strong understanding of commercial, auto, umbrella, excess, and liability insurance
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
