In addition to the project work, Medline will provide you with learning, networking, and social opportunities throughout the summer through intern specific trainings, lunch & learns with leadership, and fun events.Job Description We are seeking a Software Development Intern to join our Application Delivery Service team. The intern will be responsible for analyzing, coding and unit testing in a designated project. Candidates should have some background in .Net or Java and be willing to work with other interns and Medline employees in a collaborative, professional manner. Examples of possible projects include: Implementation of new features in the applicable business systems Help map out processes and identify opportunities for improvement to documentation and the flow of data through the business systems Qualifications: Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred. Hands-on experience with .Net or Java (through coursework or side projects) Background in Computer Science or related Theoretical understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns in a web environment Excellent organization, communication, analysis, and follow-up skills. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate. Ability to come on-site to our Northfield office at least two days per week. The anticipated salary range for this position: $23.25 - $32.50 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
