Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking an Outside Janitor to join their team. As an Outside Janitor, you will be part of the facilities maintenance team supporting a clean and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Ferndale, WA
Wage: $18.00 per hr
3 shifts available to choose from currently:
5:30 am - 2:00 pm
6:00am-3:00pm
3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

• Operate a forklift to manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in production areas
• Remove garbage from lunchrooms, bathrooms, and production plants, ensuring a tidy environment.
• Sort and prepare garbage and recycling materials, including cardboard and pallets.
• Assist maintenance in cleaning and organizing waste areas, ensuring safety and hygiene standards.
• Perform janitorial duties including cleaning offices, lunchrooms, and restrooms, while lifting up to 35 pounds.

What's Needed?

• Experience in forklift operation is required.
• Ability to lift heavy items, up to 50 pounds, as part of daily responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills to manage waste sorting and disposal effectively.
• Attention to detail to ensure all areas are clean and presentable.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
