Job Title: Lead DevOps Engineer Location: Remote Salary: 175k-230k/yr + 10% Bonus + Equity Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in automating and streamlining our development and operations processes, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure while leading cross-functional initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes. Lead the development and execution of infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform. Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the development workflow. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues by utilizing monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, and ELK Stack. Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Develop and maintain automation tools for system configuration, deployment, and monitoring. Ensure security best practices are implemented across all systems and processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in a DevOps role with strong expertise in Python, Bash scripting, and automation tools. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Knowledge of infrastructure management and monitoring solutions, including CloudFormation, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
