Job Description
Overview
Wyyerd Fiber is seeking a summer legal intern to work with our Chief Legal Officer and Associate General Counsel on contract-related projects. This includes verifying contractual data and ensuring a companywide adherence to the contractual obligations. You will be interpreting contractual clauses, identifying contract terms and conditions, and capturing the data in our internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Review contracts for key terms and pertinent clauses.
Documenting the contractual rights and obligations.
Classifies and links legal documents in Wyyerd Fiber’s contract management system.
Uploading contracts to the appropriate repository according to defined procedures.
Prioritizes tasks based on immediate and evolving priorities.
Identifies errors in extracted data and makes appropriate corrections based on provided source documents.
Works closely with Associate General Counsel to maintain high quality standards.
Currently enrolled in a JD program with excellent academic credentials
Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
