Do you love swimming and have a passion for hospitality? Bellagio is excited to announce that we are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our pool team as Lifeguards! If you enjoy the water and creating memorable experiences for guests, we would be thrilled to meet you.

THE JOB:

As a lifeguard, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of our guests while also creating a welcoming atmosphere for them to enjoy our spectacular pool amenities. While on shift, you will play an integral role in ensuring our guests' safety while also providing excellent customer service throughout their time at the pool.

THE STARTING RATE: $15.00/hr

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Provide safety by watching over water and deck areas and responding to emergency situations.
• Adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property.
• Report all guest and employee incidents/accidents to a supervisor and complete needed documentation.
• Direct guests to key locations in the property including emergency exits and procedures.
• Proactively greet and interact with guests, assist all guests with pool side needs to include seating, towels, hours of operations, ADA requirements, amenities, directions, and other various requests as needed.
• Respond and resolve guest needs in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties.
• Responsible for daily pool set-up and breakdown, cleaning, linen distribution and maintaining attentiveness to the environment to enhance guest experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Must be able to swim to obtain the Lifeguard certification.
• Comfortable with working in various outside weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts/hours as needed.
• Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.
