Lunchroom Aide/Playground Monitor
WEISS ELEMENTARY (Grades 3-5) Saginaw Township Community Schools
For full consideration please apply online. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. WORKDAYS: Monday - Friday, 2-2.5 hours per day (shifts start in the late morning and end early in the afternoon) on days when student lunch is being served (August - May)
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Oversee students in the cafeteria during the lunch period to insure a positive, safe and healthy environment for students to eat.
Provide assistance for students, as needed, to include carrying cafeteria trays of food to tables for students.
Provide support during cafeteria set up and clean up, before, during and after lunch service.
Supervise students' activies on the playground during recess to insure a safe and positive environment.
Other duties which may be assigned by the building principal.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students and staff.
Ability to foster a positive and supportive environment with staff and students.
Must be reliable, punctual, dependable, honest and self-motivated.
Physically able to stand, walk, bend, twist, lift and carry items.
Must be able to work outside for recess period. On occasions, indoor recess may be implemented which will require indoor student activity monitoring.

High School diploma or GED (required)
COMPENSATION: $12.00 per hour
