We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at AMSOIL INC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing industrial processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across various manufacturing operations. This role will use a continuous improvement methodology to hone our processes, ensuring operations run smoothly while minimizing costs and environmental impact.

The work location for this position is at the AMSOIL Center located in Superior, Wisconsin.\nCore Responsibilities:\n • Designing and Developing Processes:\n • Create and implement new production methods to improve efficiency and productivity.\n • Recommend equipment upgrades to reduce ergonomic issues and production bottlenecks.\n • Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to optimize performance.\n • Work with operators to ensure accurate work instructions are maintained.\n • Safety & Quality Focus:\n • Ensure processes are designed with safety in mind.\n • Collaborate with the Safety Committee to better understand safety concerns and recommend potential improvements.\n • Use data generated by the Quality Team to identify leading indicators of quality concerns and implement countermeasures as needed.\n • Develop and manage process safeguards to ensure AMSOIL INC. quality is never compromised and systemic error proofing is maximized.\n • Look for opportunities to improve performance related to environmental regulations.\n • Conduct tests and monitor process performance throughout production to ensure quality and compliance.\n • Equipment Identification and Commissioning:\n • Recommend and help to provide justification for new equipment.\n • Assist with project management for assigned projects related to AMSOIL INC. facilities, equipment, and new installs including bid packages, proposal evaluation, and budget management.\n • Look for opportunities to improve the quality, speed, functionality, etc.
