Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for completing sub-assemblies and final assemblies of motors, specifically for military applications. You will build motors and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine assembly specifications. Additionally, you will perform mechanical inspections using micrometers and calipers. Experience working with hand and power tools. Ability to lift 40 lbs consistently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in electrical assembly. Knowledge of inspection equipment. The shop has recently expanded and is very clean and organized. It is temperature and humidity controlled. The dress code includes steel toe boots, blue jeans, a plain t-shirt, and safety glasses. The 1st shift runs from 6am to 2:30pm with Fridays from 4am to 12pm, including early start time for overtime. The 2nd shift is from 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, with Fridays from 12pm to 8pm, extending shift time for overtime. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
