Job Summary As a Medical Assistant III, you will play a vital role under management and physician guidance, overseeing clinical activities that maintain patient flow and enhance the delivery of essential primary and preventative healthcare. Your contributions will support physicians, the clinic team, and management, all while promoting a customer-centric approach that prioritizes patient satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Assist the physician/provider in delivering primary healthcare and managing patient care effectively. Collaborate with clerical staff to optimize clinic operations and patient flow. Communicate with external healthcare facilities and agencies regarding patient care and insurance matters. Maintain competencies and articulate processes to leadership and accreditation bodies. Perform front office duties as needed to support clinic operations. Be flexible to provide coverage across other departments or locations as necessary. Exhibit excellent customer service skills aligned with patient- and family-centered care models. Hold at least two additional responsibilities as part of your primary duties, dedicating 20% or more of your time to one or more of the following: Primary Care gaps in care initiatives; assisting in residency clinics; managing high-level disinfection; acting as a designated new hire preceptor; participating in special programs or grants; care management; serving as a qualified language interpreter; or providing advanced provider support for complex procedures. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Required: Completion of an accredited MA program, including clinical rotation, or equivalent experience. 1 year of MA experience, or completion of a CH MA internship with 6 months of experience, or CH MA apprenticeship required. Preferred: 2-3 years of relevant MA experience. Must acquire Basic Life Support certification upon hire (AHA or ARC). 90 Days to obtain a Medical Assistant certification from an approved organization.
