About the Opportunity:

We are hiring an experienced MEP Site Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection execution for a major data center project in Jackson, MS. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role requiring deep field knowledge, strong subcontractor coordination skills, and the ability to drive results on mission-critical infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead all on-site MEP work: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection
• Coordinate with project management to develop and execute detailed build plans
• Manage subcontractors, track productivity, and maintain project schedules
• Review construction drawings and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Own quality control and site safety protocols when a Safety Officer isn’t present
• Monitor cost and material tracking, daily reporting, and scheduling updates
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
• Be the go-to expert on MEP coordination during all project phases—from precon to closeout

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of hands-on construction experience, with at least 5 years managing MEP scopes
• Direct experience building data centers (hyperscale, co-location, or enterprise-level)
• Deep knowledge of field construction practices, sequencing, and subcontractor management
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, and shop/MEP blueprints
• Strong command of site logistics, safety protocols, and productivity tracking
• Proficiency with scheduling tools (MS Project or similar) and digital plan review
• Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel or temporarily relocate to the project site (per diem provided)
