TO : All Kettering City School District locations and outside locations as designated by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Capital.

POSITION : MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Effective 2024-25 School Year

LOCATION : VAN BUREN MIDDLE SCHOOL

GENERAL INFORMATION : This is a 10-1/2 month contract, 220 days, 20 days before the school year and 17 days after. Administrative experience preferred.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List :

1. Assists in the direction and supervision of all building personnel.
2. Assists the Principal as a building instructional leader.
3. Assists with major student discipline issues.
4. Supervises building operations.
5. Develops building policies.
6. Reviews all grading procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List :

1. Valid elementary or middle school Ohio Principal's License.

1. Preference given to candidates holding Intervention Specialist license.
2. Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
3. Collaboration and problem-solving skills.

SALARY: According to the approved Teacher Salary Schedule.
