United Talent is looking for a Motor Mechanic who is responsible for the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various electromechanical equipment. This position requires advanced mechanical skills, extensive experience, and the ability to work independently to ensure the equipment is fully operational and in good working condition.

Job Duties:

• Diagnose & Repair:
  • Read job cards to determine job status, work authorizations, limitations, and problem descriptions.
  • Test electromechanical equipment (AC/DC) to diagnose known or suspected issues using various methods.
  • Disassemble equipment, noting parts configuration, condition, and identification.
  • Clean parts using methods such as parts washers, steamers, and sandblasters.
  • Measure and requisition proper replacement parts as needed.
• Assembly & Reassembly:
  • Replace or repair worn mechanical or electromechanical assemblies (e.g., bearings, brushes, motor leads, gears, seals, impellers, and more).
  • Retest reassembled equipment to ensure proper functionality and output.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  • Accurately complete all the required paperwork for each job on a timely basis.
  • Adhere to safety procedures, using protective gear (especially for eye and ear protection).
  • Keep work areas neat and organized.
• Team Support:
  • Assist other mechanics or service center personnel with skilled or non-skilled tasks as directed by supervisors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the service center manager or supervisor.

Pay & Shift:

• Pay is based on experience
• 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Requirements:

• Hands on experience with the following: AC Motors, DC Motors, Blowers, Pumps and Gearboxes.
• Education : High school diploma (minimum). Completion of a hands-on apprenticeship is preferred.
• Experience : 10-20 years of relevant experience in electromechanical repairs, millwright and/or maintenance.
• Special Skills :
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to learn, perform, and retain skill-related training.
  • Adherence to safety procedures and ability to understand and follow operational guidelines as demonstrated by supervisors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; talk and hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects.
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
