Job Description:
Private family seeks an experienced, full-time live-out nanny for their newborn in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Position to start end of February 2025. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and nurturing, with a commitment to growing with the family long-term.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provide primary childcare for newborn during weekdays from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
· Collaborate with night nurse during initial 3-month transition period
· Support mother's return to work schedule beginning at 4 weeks postpartum
· Handle all child-related tasks and light housekeeping
· Maintain daily routines and schedules for baby
· Be available for occasional early morning meetings and date nights with advance notice
· Travel with family as needed, including trips to the Hamptons
· Work cooperatively with visiting grandmother who will provide additional support
Requirements:
· Proven experience in newborn and infant care
· Fluent in English
· Valid driver's license and passport
· Ability to travel as needed
· Legal authorization to work in the United States
· Excellent references and background check
· Reliable transportation
· Long-term commitment as family plans to expand
· Flexibility with schedule adjustments
· Professional, warm, and nurturing demeanor
Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 annually ($35-50/hour) + Benefits including paid holidays, vacation time, health insurance contribution, and travel expenses
