Essential Functions

1. Load equipment before departing rental yard or job site.
2. Safely unload equipment at job site and professionally interact with customers
3. Review delivery with customers to ensure equipment meets their needs
4. Obtain delivery confirmation from each customer
5. Greets customers. Upon check-out of equipment, educates and instructs on proper use, and return condition agreement
6. Responsible for the processing and clean-up of returned equipment and products
7. Receive and log returned equipment
8. Perform evaluation of returned equipment

The delivery driver distributes equipment promptly to Superior Rents customers. The driver is responsible for loading/unloading the equipment and assisting with usage questions as needed.
The rental assistant role loads and unloads rental equipment, provides customers with instructions on how to properly use the equipment, and services equipment upon check-in as necessary (washes, greases, etc.)

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Exposure to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and some Saturdays, 7:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Valid Drivers License
3. Ability to pass company driving test, background check and drug test
4. Strong customer service skills

Preferred Education and Experience
1. Customer service & previous delivery driver experience
