CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) CLA Search has been retained by Optima Machinery Corporation for their Pharma Division to identify On Site Project Managers to serve their team. With locations and customers all over the world, Optima Machinery Corporation designs and builds packaging and filling machines including complete production lines for pharmaceutical, consumer, nonwovens and life science products.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage IBN at customer site and be present on-site as needed
• Coordinate customer activities with line activities and manage claims if necessary
• Communicate and meet with all levels of management, both with and without the customer
• Manage and coordinate teams during commissioning of stations and complex lines with support from the technical department in Germany
• Create and monitor schedules, and take action if necessary
• Serve as an interface between specialist departments, particularly with the engineering department in Germany
• Supervise error analysis and correction
• Plan and implement re-installation, commissioning, acceptance, training, and production ramp-up of integrated lines at customer site
• Plan and implement installation concepts
• Lead and coordinate commissioning teams from sister companies in Germany and at customer site
• Lead, plan, and report on open points while serving as the single point of contact on-site

What You’ll Need:

• Several years of experience in special machine construction as well as in the commissioning of plants indispensable
• Completed engineering studies or technician in the field of mechatronics, automation technology, mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical technology
• Approximately 20-45% travel to Europe, Canada and within the US
• Valid Driver’s License & Passport is required
