We’re seeking an experienced and driven Onsite Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one property within our portfolio in the Troy, MI area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in property management to ensure exceptional resident experiences and drive success. You will be responsible for a 200-unit community.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Onsite Property Manager to join our Accounting + Finance team. This role is pivotal in managing our multifamily portfolio, ensuring the smooth running of our properties, and maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in leasing and managing apartments. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact on our company's success.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of our multifamily portfolio, ensuring efficient management and high occupancy rates.
2. Develop and implement strategies to maximize rental income and minimize expenses.
3. Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition, identify necessary repairs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Negotiate leasing contracts, renewals, and terminations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
5. Handle financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
6. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records and timely payment of bills.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.
8. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely and quality repairs and maintenance.
9. Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes in the property management industry.
10. Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 4 years in leasing and managing apartments.
2. Proven experience managing a multifamily portfolio.
3. Strong knowledge of property management laws and regulations.
4. Proficiency in property management software and financial systems.
5. Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, staff, and stakeholders.
7. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
8. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
9. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, real estate, or related field is preferred.
