Overview of CDL-A Team Driver Role

As a Team Driver, you and your partner will operate Class A commercial vehicles across regional and national routes. Your commitment to ensuring timely deliveries and adhering to safety regulations will be pivotal to our logistics success.

Key Responsibilities for Team Drivers

• Operate Class A commercial trucks safely and efficiently on designated team routes.
• Coordinate with your driving partner to maintain schedule accuracy and meet delivery deadlines.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured according to DOT regulations to prevent damage.
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, inspections, and any irregularities as required by federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch for route updates and special instructions.
• Uphold the company’s commitment to safety and exceptional customer service standards.

Team Driver Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in a CDL-A driving role preferred.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation Overview

Base Pay: $1.25 per mile driven, plus additional incentives and bonuses based on performance metrics.
