Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in personal injury law, whether in defense or plaintiff roles, and litigation experience, even if only in a support capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support for legal matters, including case management and document preparation.
Assist with litigation processes such as discovery, filing, and trial preparation.
Coordinate with attorneys to ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents as required.
Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all necessary documents are up-to-date and accessible.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects and ensure the smooth operation of legal proceedings.
Multitask effectively to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Prior experience in personal injury law (defense or plaintiffs) is preferred. Litigation experience, even in a support role, is a strong plus.
Education: A degree or certification in Paralegal Studies is preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Teamwork: Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and complete tasks under tight deadlines.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Range – $40,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
